1. I have an ideal location in mind for Puffles. Can I pursue this location?
Before discussing potential locations, applicants must first undergo our application approval process. Once approved as potential Puffles franchisee candidates, our team can assist you in exploring possible locations.
2. Does Puffles require royalty payments?
Yes. The current royalty fee is 6%. This supports various aspects of our system like training, field support, purchasing, new product development, and quality control, just to mention a few. Additionally, there is a 1% local marketing fee allocated for local marketing efforts.
3. How much money can I expect to make?
We do not make earnings claims regarding any of our locations. The amount of money individual locations can expect to make will vary depending on a multitude of factors, including the locations and demographics, operating costs, sales, and the overall ability of the franchisee to operate and manage their franchise locations.
4. Is there opportunity to own more than one location?
Franchisees are granted locations based on their operational expertise in existing stores and their financial capacity to support more locations. If interested, our franchising team can discuss the availability of multiple units.
5. What type of training will I receive before I open a store?
We will provide initial training for your team, which is conducted at our flagship store Hollywood, FL prior to the new store opening. The training includes will include 10 to 14 days of hands on training in our corporate store and also 10 to 14 days of on-site training at the store opening.
6. Is there a cost to attend initial training?
The cost for the initial training for the prospective franchisee and staff is included in the initial franchise fee. However, the prospective franchisee is responsible for all other expenses incurred while attending training, included travel costs, room and board, and employee salaries.
